Those shoes you got for a special occasion that you wouldn’t wear until something amazing happened… I realized that I AM the something amazing that happened. I wear the shoes, the dress, I will drink the fancy bottle of wine, I will eat off the fancy china for breakfast with me. Nothing makes me feel better and more fabulous that treating myself to the things I used to say I wasn’t worthy of.
I’d kick start a new career and rid myself of the debt that’s followed me on this new journey of self. Am I happy in my decisions? Absolutely. And I would make this decision every time. You have to really want it though, it’s hard to start over out here.
