My body at 48 isn’t perfect, but it’s a work in progress - and I consider it a trophy: a prize and souvenir for creating and sustaining life twice. A women’s body is often taken for granted; I honor what it is capable of and celebrate it everyday. Being fabulous is also Making others smile, feel valued and loved, living life with curiosity, adventure, and a touch of silliness.
Now that my youngest is in college doing what she loves, I’m pursuing my passion in paramedical tattooing. To help women who’ve lost part of their femininity feel radiant, empowered and whole again. With $40K, I’d complete my training, turning my passion into a career that restores and uplifts women. I’d also take some time to finish & publish a book and give my brother the celebration of life my 85 year old mother wants for him.
