What’s the best part of life after 40?

The best part? Having the wisdom and strength to recognize my worth. At 47, I sold my fifth nail salon—a business I built with my own hands as a nail technician and owner-operator. The very next day, I walked away from a 5-year narcissistic relationship and never looked back. I moved states to be near my children and grandchildren, and I’m coaching volleyball with my daughter as my assistant coach. Life after 40 is about second chances and new beginnings. What makes you feel fabulous?

What makes me feel fabulous is waking up every day in PEACE. After 5 years in a narcissistic relationship, silence isn’t lonely anymore—it’s healing. I feel fabulous with a volleyball in my hands, coaching alongside my daughter. I feel fabulous when my grandkids run to hug me without me being distracted by toxicity. I feel fabulous building my content creation career, helping women recognize the red flags I missed and showing them there’s a beautiful life waiting on the other side.

What would you do with $40,000?

This money would fuel my mission to help women escape domestic violence—whether physical or mental abuse. I’d invest in growing my content creation platform, creating educational resources about narcissistic abuse and red flags, and partnering with domestic violence organizations. I’d take my kids and grandkids on our first real family vacation—celebrating this new chapter where I’m fully present, not controlled. They need to see that mom and grandma didn’t just survive; she’s thriving.
