Life after 40 has given me clarity, confidence, and courage. I believe age is not a limitation but an opportunity to thrive, redefine beauty, and live with intention. I want to show that strength, purpose, and grace only deepen with time. This journey is about more than beauty—it’s about resilience, purpose, and the power of using our stories to inspire others.
What makes me feel fabulous is embracing every part of my journey—the challenges, the growth, and the resilience it took to get here. Living with chronic illness and overcoming health scares, including a breast lumpectomy, has taught me to find beauty in strength, joy in purpose, and confidence in authenticity. I feel fabulous when I’m empowering other women to see their own light and reminding them that life after 40 is just the beginning.
If I win $40,000, I’ll use it to empower women with chronic illnesses through my nonprofit, Inflamed Sisters Thriving, funding programs, workshops, and retreats. I’ll also support breast cancer education and early detection, honoring my own journey being high risk due to atypical ductal hyperplasia and the loved ones I’ve lost. This prize will help inspire resilience and show that women over 40 can thrive boldly and fearlessly.
