After surviving breast cancer, life really is amazing. I've learned to keep a positive outlook and do my best to avoid toxic people.

Freedom. I think freedom at 40 allows you to get to know who you are and what your needs and wants are. Those were put on the back burner for a lot of years. Jogging pants (lol I’m wearing them now)and sliced orange’s are now on the shelf. After 40, it’s time to give back. Spend your weekend volunteering. When I was working, I gave a lot of time to the United Way through work, CHEO BBQ, Freedom Dog Rescue, Football volunteer for our son. Giving back makes me feel so good.
I feel fabulous when I am around people who make me laugh. When my kids call. When the lake is calm and the sunset is on the horizon. Having real friends. When my husband hugs me. When my dogs get the zoomies. When I come home to the dogs. I feel fabulous when I have an opportunity to get dressed up especially a new outfit. A clean mammogram.
If I were to win I have million things I could do. Vacation in Italy maybe. We never had a honeymoon and we’ve been married 35 years. My daughter is getting married so I would throw her some and put some aside for my son’s wedding (if it ever happens). I would like to say that I would pay some bills but not with this money. There are little things that I could do.
