What’s the best part of life after 40?

Since I was diagnosed the first time with colon Cancer at age 39, I would say the best part of life after 40 is being alive! Being a survivor has allowed me to walk my daughter down the aisle and enjoy the little things. Some of my favorite things for me are: walks in the park, hiking, being one with nature, and telling my story of survival to one person at a time to give them hope. Life after 40 has given me the perspective to not take life for granted.

What makes you feel fabulous?

Every morning when I wake up, I believe it’s going to be a fabulous day. I know I’m bless to still be here. I do a silly dance when I get out of bed, reminding me when I could not move. I dress up putting on my heels, reminding me when I could not walk. I started my own business to serve others to reclaim their fabulousness during and after cancer. That’s what makes me feel fabulous!

What would you do with $40,000?

It is my dream to share my story with a broader audience so that I can assist fellow cancer survivors. I will use the $40K in my business Infinite Radiance in Lanham, Maryland. At Infinite Radiance, I provide esthetician services to all and complimentary facials to active oncology clients through donors. The investment would allow me to continue to purchase safe oncology professional products, provide new equipment, and make renovations that would improve the experience for all clients.
