Being in my own, using self care.. survived esophageal cancer, got divorced, moved from the west coast to the east coast.. graduated with diploma at 64 years old and started my own business.
Realizing I’m stronger than I thought I was, I’m doing a job that is to help prevent chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease and when I know I’ve truly helped people it makes me have more confidence and gratitude that I’m on the right path in my journey!
Donate to charities like NBCS,ACS, Diabetes organization ( lost my dad to diabetes) and Arthritis Foundation as well as help inner city families with their community gardens. And buy a plane ticket to see my 91 year old mother and my children. Also do gift certificates to those who can’t afford services for mental health services… I believe you should give back to your communities in any way you are able…
