What’s the best part of life after 40?

Knowing better but just old enough to not care. Letting go of the “Ifs, Whens, Maybes” is a huge relief. “If” I lose weight. “When” I get the time. “Maybe” I’ll go. Being almost 45 come January, I’ve realized this. You’re never going to be this young again. Wear the dress. Take the trip. You’re only getting older, Grasshopper.

What makes you feel fabulous?

At the clinic, when it all comes together for the kiddo and their family. You can’t help but feel fabulous knowing you had a part in that. You’re literally walking on cloud 9. At home, being draped in the hugs of my Hubs, sons, nephews, and nieces. I’m the funnest Auntie-Uncle hands down (ask them)! And of course blue hair :-) love my blue hair! And shout-out to Nikki Danielle Boudoir for her camera angles. We found my confidence in her lens!

What would you do with $40,000?

Put it all back into my kids autism clinic. I am still accruing debt as a result of Tricare’s transition to keep the clinic afloat and pay my amazing therapists. The money would help pay off a portion of the debt so we can live to see another year. I opened it in 2021 and would love to see it continue to stay open and make an impact in the lives of these kiddos. Even if I don’t win, we will still find a way!
