What’s the best part of life after 40?

I love being over 40. I didn’t really find my voice until I was older and what an amazing blessing that is. I was able to heal myself from 15 years of Lyme disease and I needed the confidence that I now have to do that. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer but I feel at peace because of all I have learned as I gotten older. I believe women over 40 are so beautiful,wise, fabulous and hilarious because being able to laugh at yourself takes time to learn but nothing is better than that. 💃

What makes you feel fabulous?

Live music and dancing is my definite happy place. Skiing and mountaineering from Colorado to Nepal. Being on my surfboard watching the sunset in Costa Rica. Spending time w my family,dogs, and friends. I love life even through all of the battles I have been through. I have amazing stories I really want to share to lift up and inspire other women.

What would you do with $40,000?

I would donate the money to Global Lyme Alliance as Lyme is extremely misunderstood and awareness is of vital importance to me. I would donate to St. Jude’s children’s hospital for children suffering with cancer. I would give the rest to help animal rescue and fund humane shelters and adoptions. Most of the women in my family have had breast cancer so this is extremely personal and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to share my stories.
