Let’s be real: a fresh cut, color and blowout!! Knee-high boots and a flattering sweater dress (with spanx, of course), and a delicious cosmopolitan! But more than that, giving people gifts that bring smiles to their faces is the best feeling in the world. Also, my kids telling me they love me makes me cry (in a good way) every time!
I give a little bit every year to St. Jude’s, to the ASPCA every month, the Los Angeles Mission for thanksgiving meals for the homeless, as well as some go fund me accounts for autistic people who are struggling. My donations are hardly earth-shattering amounts, but every little bit helps. I would designate some of this money to continue to help in those small ways, and put away the rest. As a single mom with a daughter in college, this helps!
