Freedom! I had to stop teaching in my late 30s due to illness (CRPS and comorbidities), so I have embraced brightly coloured hair (dark blue, purple, neon pink, candy pink, turquoise, lavender, teal, emerald, and candy floss) and looking like the "younger me" still inside.
Being an advocate, screaming for truth and justice (even if behind a computer screen), raising awareness by participating in the "months" (blue for ankylosis spondylitis, orange for CRPS -- and ADHD, but in a different month, teal for dysautonomia -- and for the food allergy portion of Allery and Asthma Awareness Month, and green for gastroparesis)
I would be able to "self-pay" for longer, more effective version of the IV treatment for CRPS. The multi-day version can "reset" you ... it might not give me remission but would likely allow me far better quality of life, and for longer. I would take my bucket-list trip to Vegas and LA. If I still needed a power chair (which I do need but cannot afford), I would buy the one I've been considering. I would help raise awareness and funds for CRPS research!
