My teenage sons keep me nimble in both mind and spirit, and after 19 years, my marriage carries the quiet strength of shared history and the easy rhythm of love that’s learned, weathered, and enduring.
What makes me feel fabulous is the clarity that comes with my 40s—knowing my priorities and living each day aligned with them. My faith, family, work, and creative passions fill my world with purpose. Devoting time to what nourishes my mind, body, and soul feels both grounding and liberating—a daily act of joy, balance, and self-expression.
I’d tithe 10%, save a bit—both out of practicality and to because I know my father would be proud. I’d invest in my writing, perhaps breathe new life into my novel as an audiobook, and then treat my family to a small getaway where we could feel inspired by the energy of a new place. Did I mention I LOVE to travel? And last, but certainly not least, I would support the expansion of a local non-profit.
