What’s the best part of life after 40?

Being a woman over 40 is like being a fine wine—better with age! You finally reach that glorious stage where you can confidently say, “I don’t care what anyone thinks!” Plus, your wardrobe becomes a delightful mix of “I’m still youthful” and “I’m so comfortable, I could fall asleep in this.” And let’s not forget the wisdom that comes with age—like knowing that the best way to deal with drama is to reach for the chocolate!

What makes you feel fabulous?

Feeling fabulous comes from embracing joy and purpose in life. Giving back to my community brings a sense of fulfillment; whether through volunteering, supporting local initiatives, or simply lending a helping hand, there’s immense joy in uplifting others. It creates a ripple effect of positivity and connection. I also believe in not taking life too seriously—finding humor in everyday moments and appreciating little things keeps my spirit light. The combo of service+laughter gives me purpose.

What would you do with $40,000?

I’d use the money to support families of murdered and missing Indigenous women, who are badly in need of legal aid, counseling, and search assistance. Thousands of women/girls have gone missing from reservations and tribal lands, and many Indigenous communities lack adequate law enforcement response to assist with the situation. We need to start taking meaningful action to protect Indigenous lives, hold perpetrators accountable, and provide support for affected families. No more stolen sisters!
