What’s the best part of life after 40?

At 62 I can take the time to do the things I enjoy most. Looking after my granddaughter is my greatest blessing and keeps me fit. Seeing my two daughters become strong wonderful talented women. Working on my art is a wonderful gift and immensely rewarding. Taking things less seriously and letting go of many things that are useless, emotionally, mentally and materially. Exercise gratitude everyday because every day is a gift from God.

What makes you feel fabulous?

I take pride in caring for myself. I walk often, stay active whenever I can, and share good, wholesome meals with family and friends. I’m an illustrator and interior designer with a background in fashion so creativity has always been the heartbeat of my life. Inner peace and a rich spiritual life come first. They refill my spirit and give me the hope and purpose to move forward, one day at a time. I believe that when you nurture peace within, it naturally radiates outward.

What would you do with $40,000?

I would save it and plan a trip with my family I love to travel and explore new places.. I would give a portion to a good cause. I think family is the greatest gift and along with health is the most important thing we have and must look after. Make wonderful memories that will last forever! Spend as much time as you can with the ones you love. Giving back to bless others is always a good idea it will return to you multiplied.
