What’s the best part of life after 40?

Life after 40 is a vibrant chapter, where the wisdom gained in your 20s and 30s empowers you to boldly reinvent yourself. My 40s have been a transformative journey: I experienced the joy of marriage for the first time, landed my dream job, and explored corners of the world I once only imagined. It’s never too late to start something new - 40 and FAB is JUST the beginning!

What makes you feel fabulous?

I feel fabo when I’m living the best version of myself! It’s easy to feel on top of the world when you’re healthy & wealthy. But chronic illnesses like mine test your spirit physically and mentally. That’s why I’m always reinventing what it means to be my best, whether I’m at my favorite weight & hair length or going bald from chemo. No matter where we are in our journey, there’s always room for more joy-those extra sprinkles on the cake, even if it's a gluten-free & vegan version like mine! :-)

What would you do with $40,000?

Born with Spina Bifida-Myelomeningocele, led me to the daunting diagnosis of stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. After losing my bladder in a grueling 8.5 surgery, I endured targeted chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Today, at 45, I am grateful to have no evidence of cancer, even as I navigate ongoing treatment side effects. With $40,000, I will amplify awareness for Spina Bifida and Bladder Cancer, and seize the chance to rebuild, finishing my 40s with renewed strength and purpose!
