What’s the best part of life after 40?

The best part of life after 40 is the peace that comes with this fabulous age. I can express myself confidently and respectfully, without fear of how others may take it, while still ensuring my words are guided by respect and sensitivity. One of the greatest blessings in this season is witnessing my children, both under 15, grow and mature into kind, thoughtful human beings who reflect God’s grace in human form, while fully understanding that I have so much to be a blessing to others.

What makes you feel fabulous?

I feel most fabulous when I’m aligned, mind clear, soul steady, and spirit glowing. Whether I’m dressed up to be out with my children, friends, or participating in community engagements, or dressed down, relaxing on my bed, or hand-washing my car, it's all just fabulousITY. Traveling and dining out also fabulously lift my spirits, and there’s something truly fabulous about feeding my mind and soul with knowledge through reading and researching any topic that sparks my interest.

What would you do with $40,000?

I’d invest part of it into international projects that empower school-going young women and men, primarily by offering monthly virtual group talks where we gather and openly discuss certain topics that affect us daily. I would use the rest to fund a marketing campaign to launch my niche t-shirt business, cover travel expenses to finally pay a visit to RSA to honor my parents’ final resting places who passed 4 weeks apart, as I was unable to attend their funerals due to COVID travel restrictions.
