The best part of life after 40 is owning who I am—a sister, daughter, dog mom, community leader, and friend. I’ve stopped apologizing for taking up space. I use my voice to build belonging, chase creativity, and bring flair (yes, even to meetings). The years behind gave me strength; the years ahead are wide open with love, laughter, and second chances

What makes you feel fabulous?

What makes me feel fabulous is walking through life with purpose and play. Whether I’m leading in community living, writing stories about dogs and belonging, or dancing in the kitchen with Livvy, I feel fabulous when heart and humor come together. It’s in bold outfits, belly laughs, and knowing I’ve built a life full of love, friendship, and what’s next.

What would you do with $40,000?

With $40,000, I’d invest in belonging—creating spaces where people with disabilities and their families feel truly included through programs, training, and creative projects. I’d also bring my dog-inspired stories to print, sharing hope and heart. And for me? I’d finally go to Europe for the first time, walking cobblestone streets with wonder, knowing adventure fuels the same spirit I pour into community.
