I have overcome so much to get to this point in my life…Cancer, helping my son navigate a life with medical challenges, a difficult divorce and building back my self confidence. I am living THE BEST years of my life. I am the happiest, strongest, most confident and secure I have ever been! I look back at those obstacles with gratitude, for making me the woman I am today.
Being confident and happy, and helping others achieve success, make me feel FABULOUS! Seeing my son gain independence and overcome challenges in his life, brings me the most joy! My two jobs also make me feel fabulous! I am a Shipping Supervisor, and I have been a Spin instructor since 2008. Both allow me an opportunity to help people achieve success. One is career based, the other is fitness based. However, both lead to better overall mental, emotional and physical health.
I would definitely invest a portion of it, for my and my son’s future. In addition, a cause that is close to my heart is women’s health. I would like to do something to contribute to healthcare and educating women about their bodies and vulnerabilities. I was fortunate to catch my cancer early, because I was on top of my health screenings. Not all women have the health education and services to give them the benefits of prevention and early detection. I’d also take a well-deserved vacation!
