What’s the best part of life after 40?

Utilizing my experiences to move forward and grow with confidence. Letting go of what no longer serves me and focusing on what is truly important in life, family, friends and health. Knowing it's ok to not be ok and understanding that true relationships will always be there to support you, no matter what. Realizing anything is possible, if you set your mind to it and take action. The sky's the limit!!

What makes you feel fabulous?

The list of what makes me feel fabulous is limitless. This is a start, in no particular order, other than my faith. Prayer & meditation. Letting go of fear. Overcoming obstacles. Trying new things. Helping, mentoring, supporting, empowering others. Intentional connections. Laughter. Being outdoors & appreciating nature. The sun. Physical activity. Yoga. Dancing like no one is watching, even if they are. A day at the spa. A good book, movie, song. A delicious meal. Dessert. Sleep.

What would you do with $40,000?

April Black has inspired me. I would tithe,10% to the NBCF & a local women's shelter. I would utilize the remainder of the money to 1)Further my education. You're never too old to learn, be open to new ideas, acquire new skills, apply what you learn & share your knowledge with others. Education is growth, it is empowering and it's a lifelong journey!! 2) I would plan a trip, with my husband, to celebrate the accomplishment of winning this challenge and to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
