What’s the best part of life after 40?

We've arrived at a middle point between reflecting on the journey thus far and looking forward to the next chapter. There's a sense of clarity, confidence, and continued curiosity in celebrating wins, learning from missteps, and moving forward with more wisdom. Experiencing joy in simplicity, we find peace in accountability and strength in self-awareness. Most of all, there's a solid understanding that happiness lies in precious moments with loved ones, time is valuable, and love is everything.

What makes you feel fabulous?

I feel the most fabulous when I can make a positive difference in someone's life. Through my work, this means standing with them through the storm and holding that hypothetical the door open when all others have closed. In my personal life, it's about extending acts of kindness, fostering my children's zest for life, and being intentional in how I show up. It's also the simple things like making a stranger smile, celebrating someone's successes, or remembering to not take life so seriously.

What would you do with $40,000?

With $40,000, I’d invest in my children’s education, helping them chase their dreams. I’d also pour into my counseling practice, leveraging more resources, reaching more clients, and expanding spaces for healing and growth. Supporting my family while continuing to make a difference in lives of others would make every dollar feel deeply meaningful! (Oh, and if there's change to spare, I'd also add more veggies to my garden and buy my bunnies a few of their favorite treats. Just sayin.)
