Having the knowledge that the worst possible outcome is failure. When I was in my 20’s it was almost panic inducing to think about making the wrong choice and failing. Now, I know I’ve lived through worse and can just start over and do better next time. There’s a freedom in knowing that failure is also a path to unexpected success and happiness you didn’t see coming.
Have you met me? I’m still here and thriving! I’ve overcome horrible childhood trauma, PTSD, injuries, losing countless family members and close friends, cancer and a traumatic brain injury! I’m still the sassy sarcastic smarty pants who constantly conquers her world! I woke up me, that is all it takes to be fabulous!
If you know me at all you KNOW the answer has to do with dogs, and you’d be right! It will go towards raising the next generation of Shih Tzu service dogs in Canada who will be donated to deserving individuals with disabilities in need of a small breed medical or hearing alert or PTSD dog to continue Mikas legacy.
