I’ve spent my whole life working hard—building businesses, honing my craft in all things hair, style, interiors, education, and content creation—and through that I’ve earned trust in my community and recognition for the things I’m great at. I’ve always been independent, and after enough practice in life I no longer waste time worrying about what people think.
What makes me feel fabulous is knowing I’ve survived and thrived through some of life’s toughest challenges. I’m a survivor of domestic abuse, I built a business from the ground up, and I held it down as a single mom during a pandemic. That resilience is part of my style—it’s what makes me walk a little taller and trust my power. I feel fabulous when I get to express myself through bold fashion and fearless hair transformations, because for me style is more than clothes—it’s empowerment.
If I had $40,000, the first thing I would do is finally take a honeymoon—I’ve been married for two years and haven’t had the chance to celebrate that milestone with the trip we deserve. The rest, I’d invest straight into my newly launched luxury hair extension brand, CARTÉ MANE. Building this brand is about more than just extensions—it’s about raising the standard in the industry, empowering stylists, and creating a legacy.
